T explains : hello / hi can be used at any moment of the day, it’s an informal way of greeting .Good morning /afternoon/… is a way of greeting that is more formal than hello /hi . Pay attention to linking sounds S copy the new words in their notebooks . Practice S practice greeting in pairs & in groups . T asks some groups to perform & corrects their mistakes if they don’t pronounce correctly. S look at the pictures in B2 and tell T the differences between them .
