Giấc ngủ có vai trò quan trọng, không chỉ giúp cơ thể khôi phục năng lượng
mà còn tham gia tích cực vào các hoạt động chức năng thể chất và tâm lý.
Khi trẻ đến tuổi vị thành niên, giấc ngủ gặp nhiều thách thức do ảnh hưởng
của các thay đổi về sinh lý thần kinh và hệ thống nội tiết tố, các nhiệm vụ
học tập và các nhu cầu tâm lý xã hội đặc trưng của lứa tuổi này. Bài viết
này tổng hợp và trình bày tổng quan các nghiên cứu từ năm 2010 đến năm
2021 về mối quan hệ giữa giấc ngủ của trẻ vị thành niên và các khía cạnh:
(1) Sức khỏe thể chất, (2) Sức khỏe tâm thần, (3) Chức năng nhận thức. Kết
quả tổng quan là cơ sở thúc đẩy các chương trình cải thiện chất lượng giấc
ngủ nhằm hỗ trợ sự phát triển lành mạnh của trẻ.
